A large alligator was found in a backyard pool in Los Fresnos. The reptile, initially thought to be 6 to 8 feet long, was actually closer to 10 feet. Jacob Reinbolt, a licensed nuisance alligator trapper, responded to the call and safely captured the animal.

He and his team relocated the alligator in about 15 minutes. The alligator appeared to be mature and had scars from fights with other alligators, as well as a gunshot wound and a partially missing tail. Further details about the incident are available from the Port Isabel Press.
